Outdoor adventure has proven benefits to young people, and we believe all young people deserve the chance to access those benefits. We also know that it costs money to run a quality program and the true cost of camp is out of reach for many of our families. Our yearly rates are chosen carefully every year in consideration of the tension between these values, needs, and realities.
We are committed to offering competitive pay in order to best value one of our greatest assets – our staff – and to make working at camp accessible to young adults from all walks of life. We strive to serve tasty, nutritious, and scratch made food. We are dedicated to stewarding the property, caring for and improving facilities, and maintaining equipment for the safe enjoyment of our campers, and we work to keep the price point as manageable as possible. The national daily rate for overnight camps was $172 in 2022. This rate is in line with other Pacific Northwest programs over the last three years. In 2024, Camp Gallagher is running youth programs with a daily rate of $134.
And yet, we know that paying for camp is still a stretch for some families. Thanks to the generous support of our community, we continue to offer full and partial camperships for campers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend camp. Please apply for a campership if it would make a difference in helping your camper attend this summer!
We use a pre-defined Financial Aid table to calculate awards. You'll receive a response to your application within a week of applying. Scholarship discounts can be applied during or after registration. Also, please keep in mind that camperships should be used for one session per camper in order to provide the experience of Gallagher to as many campers as possible.
If the financial aid award is not enough to make camp affordable, please contact our office (info@campgallagher.org) and see if we have additional funding to award.
Please note: we also have some great gear to share! If campers need to borrow sleeping bags, warm jackets, or other items from the packing list, just to let us know.

A 10% deposit is required at checkout.
Payment options include Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express.
Deposits are fully refundable until June 1st. Regardless of registration date, deposits are nonrefundable after June 1st.
In the event of cancellation, email info@campgallagher.org at least five days prior to the starting date of the session. The total payment, less your deposit, will be refunded. Cancellations after five days prior to the starting date will result in loss of all fees paid.
Final payment must be submitted two weeks before your session or we reserve the right to cancel your registration. Please do not send money to camp with your child. If you've selected the "bill me automatically" option during registration, your card will automatically be charged the remaining balance 14 days prior to the session start date.
Camp Gallagher reserves the right to cancel any program for which there is insufficient registration. Such cancellation will result in a full refund.
If a camper leaves camp early due to homesickness, illness, injury, parent request, or for discipline reasons, there will be no refund.
