Shoreline Restoration Project

With support from the Washington Native Plant Society, we’re restoring the South Property through invasive removal and native planting. Join the stewardship crew.


Upcoming Work Days

When: Saturday, March 7 at 10:30 am
Focus: Join Ellen Tennis and Mike Tribble to begin removing Scotch broom along the shoreline. If time allows, we may begin planting or move up the hill to work on ivy around Duckabush.

When: Saturday, March 14 at 10:30 am
Focus: Join Alison Mohrbacher to continue removing Scotch broom and ivy, or focus on planting, depending on progress from the previous week.

When: Ongoing (dates TBD)
Focus: Join the monitoring crew to make regular visits and help water new plants throughout the drier months.

 
What to bring:
  • Layers
  • Water bottle
  • Work gloves
  • Trowels or shovels (we have several at camp, but feel free to bring your own)
  • Lunch/snacks
  • Friends
